Kick arse electric fence around it. Yeah he was getting pissed at the guy who almost ran over him, hope he reported the driver to the police. Got off lite with a missing door handle.

I'd probably line the pools and rocks with broken glass.

It's not too hard to extract from the water supply, and long term not a great environmental hazard.

30,000L tank further down, and a small solar pump or two to re-start the siphon.

 

Can't swim in pools if there's no water there.

Put up signs saying "Caution, Piranhas" most tourists won't know enough to be sure its not true.

Better yet, make this into a poster and put it up, along with a graphic warning that genital-invading Candiru fish have been introduced into the pools.
