Android app is good too - has a very seesmic feel to it, which I like :-)

If someone sent you a invite even if you didnt get a email saying that someone invited you but you know that a invite was sent go to https://plus.google.com and sign in with your email you gave to the person who invite you and you will get in until they close the invites again

Iv had my Main account since google plus was released my 2nd account that i sent a invite to just signed up ( didn't get a invite email ) my 3rd account that does not have a invite could not access says invite only

So if you requested a invite from someone and you know they sent it try going to the G+ site and sign in with that you should get in but i don't know for how long it only lasted for a short amount of time every day

Iv also had a couple of my friends i invited an hour ago sign up this way and they got no email

Google is no longer sending out Invite emails , as long as your account is sign into google you will be fine

Yeah, I think they're just opening it for a set number of invites per day. The good news is the invites seem to go into a queue so if you've been sent one it should arrive once they open up again. Or you can just try going to plus.google.com and logging in, a few people are reporting this works for them.

Google Giveth google taketh :( i did my part invited just over 200 people , bad news is i have to remove all the people off my circles that i don't want and clear my twitter inbox not a fun job at all
