I see google have launched their social networking service Google +

The demos look good, I'm more interested in this than facebook.

At the moment it's invite only and I don't have an invite. If anyone gets an invite to share feel free to send one my way :-)

Jeremy.corkin at gmail

Cheers.

If you retweet google apps on twitter they are giving away invites.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Seems there is a bit of interest already.

The message on the plus.google.com website says:

"We've temporarily exceeded our capacity. Please try again soon"

There is a Keep Me Posted button which allows you to be updated with new updates.

I will be moving to this/trialing it once it goes live. Looks quite cool.

The only thing i use FB for nowdays is to organise stuff (Events) and of course FB stalking people! Tongue out

This thread is soooo reminiscent of the AOL users' Usenet postings of olden days... ;o)
