Hi There!
How can I turn off JUST those types of emails? I can't find a setting!

Go into your profile settings and check all your notification settings have no emails enabled.

Hmm the way to do it is to actually unsubscribe from the email itself via the provided link and it's quite granular.
Hardly intuitive.
