Hi,

I am wantiing to change my bands facebook page so it is more user friendly
basically our drummer set it up and it's more of a personal page as well as a band page
I would like to be able to list the band members, what music we play...etc...
How can I set one up like this, so it is more of a 'group' page and not a personal / individual page?

any advice would be helpful!

Why not setup a proper website. Facebook are always changing things, and they have rules and a set template on how a page is to be setup, and they may change things around in the future.

Other than their standard "FanPage" which anyone can setup that's only related to someones account as long as they don't add any additional admins to it.

Is pay someone for a API template/app setup. Or mess with the html5 integration - Similar to the big names like Nikon and CocaCola

Those templates are a roadblock to get into a page. If I see a "Like Us" first before seeing content I just walk away.

This is the Intergen page I maintain. Just using the standard Facebook timeline really.

Agree about "like us" first

One way to keep semi-permanent content (e.g. band members) is to add it to the timeline as per usual, then pin it to the top, so it's the first thing people see
