Hi,

I'd like to create a social media tool wherein parents, teachers and youth can recommend movies for students to study in school.

With each thread, just one movie could be suggested. Then people can comment on it to see if meets the criteria and to find a recommended age group.

So we want to end up with a resource that teachers and parents can go to where the films are grouped in 3 categories as age appropriate.

11 -12 yrs

13 - 14 yrs

16 - 18 yrs

Short films

if the IMDB parental content indicates they contain something offensive, then I'd like a moderator to be able to shuffle it to the offensive pile.

What is the best tool to give users access to suggest movies and for moderators to sort them?

Henk

Discourse is a pretty nice forum, mobile friendly, easy to set up and administer.  Might not meet all your needs as it's less about the usual forum structure of category->thread->post and more a big bucket of threads that are easily searchable and tagged.

Discourse help me a lot to separate movies according to the category, so you can also use that.
