I have an issue with FB. Sometimes when I open FB pages, the pictures have comments attached to them and sometimes the comments simply aren't there at all. I can't see any obvious reason why.

 

Hope that explains the problem adequately.

FB is well known for running millions of experiments, like Amazon does. You might see variations that will help them decide which ones "engage" more people.

You could try doing the usual  - If this is in the phone App, clear App Cache. If browser, clear browser cache.

 

Also if it's not loading properly (again app related) try disabling wifi and trying via 3G/4G instead. Quite often this will work for me.
