I was just having a look on my facebook page and one of those get a Samsung S10 for $2.00 scams popped up. Although the wording was exactly the same as every otherone I have seen . The difference in this one was they were trying to make out you were dealing with PB tech. Obviously its nothing to do with PB tech but I thought I would draw peoples attention to it

To be honest no. I'm not really sure who I should report it to. I suppose I could email PB tech and let then know.

Report it to Facebook using their report feature.

Thats better than the $1 S9+ deal someone I saw post about twice so far :P Was it the usual. 'google this code and follow the link' thing?

Person I saw posting it swears they have never filled out a survey, never used the FB app on a mobile. And never installed a FB app that may do it. But given you can't actually tell if an app goes rogue or you used 'login with facebook' at one point. I'm dubious

Likely used the 'who viewed my profile' link or similar, clicked the 'here have my permission to spam' button and thought nothing of it till now.

If it was your profile (or someone elses) get them to check https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=applications and clear it out unless it's something used frequently and known good.

Changing PW won't often cut it if it is an app with permission.
