Hi All, 

 

I am starting my little business and I would like to improve on a business model used by Container Door ( let's call it group import).

 

I would like to reach the current users of the Container Door website.

 

Apart of google ads and FB ads, is there a better solution? 

 

How to do it? Any ideas?

I take it you mean to attract the same sort of users.

 

SEO, advertising, cold calling, the usual stuff :)

It may depend on what you mean by ‘how to reach’. Do you mean ‘how to find out who they are and how to make contact with them’ - or do you mean ‘how attract similar users to your site’? You said “reach the current users” - so I guessed you meant how to identify and make contact.

a couple of years back, there was an option on FB to create "lookalike" audience with option of "include people who visited www.adress.com " ( insert needed www address)

 

but it was discontinued with introduction of pixel.

 

Is there something similar on the market?

The main reason it was removed is because that kind of targeting was too invasive - even Facebook recognised it.

 

Instead of trying to focus on who is using your competitor you should try understanding who are your potential clients. Get a User Experience and Marketing teams to work together, create profiles (personas) and use this to target your audience. Much better than trying to figure out who is your competitor's customer base. You won't know for sure, ever.
