How convenient that just when we open this new forum on Geekzone I have a ticket to giveaway to a related conference... I am talking about Social Media Junction, happening in Auckland Monday 17th May 2010.

If you work with social media in general (blogs, forums, marketing) or your company is interested to find out more about this topic, then post a reply here and I will draw a ticket next Monday 10th May around 12pm.

Good luck.

Many thanks for setting up the new forum. I'm very passionate about social networking, especially in regard to Location Based Services and mobile.

Many of us working in companies who either don't understand social networking or are afraid of it. This is such an awesome opportunity for Kiwi innovation.

I'm looking forward to participating is this forum.
