solaybro: I see you are offering a modem for a fee, what modem is it?

Innbox v51 with a revised casing to deal with New Zealand climate (http://www.innbox.net/en/vdsl2-ethernet-gigabit-home-gateway) We have been through many modems in our time and we wanted one that covered ADSL, VDSL and fibre. Plus one that if our customers decided to leave will serve them well with other service providers. We send them out pre-configured so once the connection is complete its plug in and turn on.

With no contract it makes sense to offer a modem that is going to last, because we aren't trying to lock a customer in for a contract period to cover the modem cost.

yes there are those cases.

Its easy for us but the average users dont exactly understand or think in the exact way we may do.

We haven't had that one yet, but no doubt it will come. We are focusing on a niche that is more tech savvy and would see value in the specific services we offer.

I am jealous. Even I don't have fibre access at home. Pm me your email and I will get an invite out to you so you can add us to your investigations.

The fibre process can take a bit longer if you have a shared access driveway, or cross-leased land. If this is the case make sure you have a quick word to your neighbours to expedite things.

It's not here yet! Chorus is in the 'build' phase for our apartment building. Apparently all we need is a splitter and some apartment wiring. I'm guessing just to install the ONT. I can see it in the hazy future, and can't wait

How is your provisoning and handover done? Directly by yourself manually or does the wholesale provider do it all for you?

Would be interested in seeing pricing and other such information

We work in conjunction with Vibe communications as a wholesaler, and have had a great experience so far. If the need arrises we step in and represent the customer, as they are our primary focus. Its the personal touch that makes all the difference when it comes to provisions.

Email support is great, I'm loving being a Bigpipe customer.

I was with Vibe before I moved the Bigpipe, Vibe are great too but Bigpipe offered unlimited traffic and Vibe did not.

The fiber prices seem fine but ASDL and VDSL is pricey. Nice website though.
