freitasm: I think the website itself looks good. There are a couple of things a good copywriter would suggest (including spelling out numbers under ten, use of commas). Also if you have a domain name you should use a service (Google Apps, Office 365) and have your contact email on the same domain instead of a Gmail account.

Other than this I think it's going in the right direction.

Thanks freitasm, that's a pretty good advices. I have changed numbers spelling already, and will add corporate e-mail shortly.

0verdose05: I gave up trying to take this seriously after the 5th spelling mistake.

I am intrigued though - who is this "chief" and is he world famous ?

" Cooked by chef
Our tasty, healthy and fresh-made meals are prepared with love by a professional team supervised by chief."

Hi 0verdose05, thanks for your comment. I have fixed "chief" mistake. Can you please point out the other mistakes you have found?

A lot of your sentences are grammatically incorrect - I just had a skim but do you mean Caesar here?

"Wed Cesar with chicken"

Hi

As I said I like what you are trying to do and would use the service regularly . However Elliot street is a bit far up for me. I work at the Britomart end of town and by the time I walked to Elliot street and back with the Queen street lunchtime crowd that's a good percentage of my lunch time gone.  I really feel you would need to offer at least 3 pickup points to make it convenient for people. My view is that I would be prepared to walk up  ten minutes each way  to pick things up but no further

Great concept. I look forward to seeing it grow. Personally I would emphasise the subscription nature of the service. It is new in NZ.

Thank you for your comment. Yes, you are right. I talked to customers and for some of them Elliot street is not convenient as well. We considering bulk subscriptions delivery, for example 5+ subscription at one place. Or as you suggested, we may organize several takeaway points, this is a good idea indeed.

Good to see another company preparing to enter this market. Myself I place a weekly order with www.musclechow.co.nz who deliver daily to my house. Since I live on the Shore, Im well outside your delivery area. I realise it is early days and that you have probably not finalised your menu yet. But some nutritional information would be awesome.

As for the wider meal delivery model, There is at least 5 companies operating already in this market. And probably alot more that I don't know about. But if you can carve out a big enough niche for yourself then you can still do well. As I find that getting precooked meals delivered means Im eating consistently healthy food. And most other people would probably feel the same. So agree that this market will likely see big expansion.

Hi Aredwood, thanks for your comment, very much appreciated. Yes, you are right that we may include nutrition information to each item. As for our niche, it is impossible to reach all the, customers, thus we targeted our audience by location, so people who are living, working or studying in CBD are our audience.

Does your service allow for customers to specify special dietary requirements (e.g. Gluten free)?

Hi dclegg, thank you for your question. Yes, for some meals we may say that they are gluten free. On the other hand, we are fond Italian cousin (I have been living in Italy), and many of our meals are Italian. And we are going to cook home made pasta using flour, that contain some gluten traces.
There is no formal definition of "healthy food" and when we say our food is healthy we mean that this food following the criteria:

- Food that is "good for you" such as food that is high in natural vitamins, fructose or fibre and low in fat, salt and / or sugar.

This is actually The Dictionary of Modern Medicine suggestion about healthy food.
