Ok I've been making a website for almost a year now.  www.grubber.co.nz. It started off as another social network but it started to grow, but it is still loseley based on social networking. So what do you guys think??

It still has a lot of bugs and its not the final product yet.

Some friendly suggestions:

- Have a think about consistent fonts across your website. I can count at least six different fonts on your front page.
- Your login page is very clearly a clone of the google/Gmail login prompt. This doesn't inspire confidence in your product, nor does submitting username/password in plaintext
- Spelling and/or grammar are important e.g. on the login page

"With Grubber music you can upload your own music for other's to hear and purchase"
"With a Grubber account you can more than ever before." (can what?)
"Stay login in"

The advertisement for the chat service seems very odd.

"the new messenger for a new year" << what on earth does this mean?

Also implies that it won't work for me, as I don't run Windows OS?

That's just tempting fate right there :)

So what's your "business plan" with this?  Who is an ideal user and what would they be doing with the site?

hehehe, well im pretty sure thats not my actual password, i think its just a sample of what my algorithm spits out,

also "business plan"

To make a website, that gets people, to come back to chat to their friends and write blogs if they want.
and Ideal user? anyone that has friends and can use a computer

also the inconsistant font's are getting replaced when i upgrade some of the older pages, most of the new pages are with a common font, which is going to be added to all the pages, so it has more constant font

Like to see how long that lasts without recording industry consent.

You have to stop using unnecessary apostrophes - I've noticed them all over the site. Bob the Angry Flower has the goods.

Not sure if it means music you own, or music you have made.

I note in another post you stated this is what your algorithm spits out. Homemade security algorithms are almost always a bad idea, as creating a robust and secure one is a difficult task. Using existing well tested algorithms is a much better way to go.

Here is an excellent article on dealing with secure passwords.
