Hi guys,

This is in the very early stages, bit I wanted to get an idea as to what is involved.

Im struggling to come up with a name and logo, so suggestions are appreciated. I can print on pretty much anything I want, so I can advertise with my car, social media and of course word of mouth.

Anything I need to be aware of? Is there some sort of legal issue with slapping a sticker on my car, going to peoples houses and fixing their computer or training them to use software?

Im not going to be doing any market research. Ill be doing this after work when im required. I've cleared it with my boss and am familiar with all the rules with advertising on your car windscreen...etc...etc.

Cheers!

All the IT contractors I know have liability insurance, might need some in case you break something?....

Hmm, that is a good thought! I will definitely consider it. Not sure if I will need it for removing viruses on granny's computer, but if I was in a commercial small to medium business environment working on servers that need to be up ALL the time and cost the business thousands of dollars for each hour they are not working, I would jump on that.

I want to try and keep my costs to the bare minimum at the moment though. Is there anything else that needs to be looked at before I start advertising?

Cheers!
