I love pricespy.co.nz and i keep a "wishlist" of items that when the price chages i get an email to notifying me , so i can then make a decision as to buy or not to buy

I wonder if a similar system could be setup with trademe?

There was an article in nzherald about a car dealer who managed to get an app which was generating him every morning the list of every car he was interested in - pricewise and other info.
There were no information of whether that app was available for anyone else.

I just use my trade me 'favourites' searches, set to email daily.

With a decent specific search phrase it'll find stuff I want.

As they use an auction process, comparing pricing only works with ' buy now' listed items..

I would thoroughly recommend bidbud.co.nz. It's a great tool even if you only occasionally buy things. And Andrew just keeps adding to it. (No, I don't have any affiliation with it.)

All the things you could possibly want from an auction app.

(Hmm, perhaps I shouldn't sing it's praises as it will make it harder for me to win auctions!!)

I second that the man deserves an ....... what do you award techs/geeks who develop a neat piece of software?

I like to use gearbot.co.nz myself. It's a little less clunky than pricespy.
