Hi all, After reading a few threads on this forum about the launch and demise of Wheedle I realised that there are whole lot of people willing and able to test and provide feedback for those about to launch a new website. On the 24th of October 2014 I am launching www.findmynextride.co.nz.

Ride is basically a socially interactive automotive auction website. It’s a place where you can list and sell cars but also do so much more. It’s all about cars and the people that love to drive, modify and fix them. Help needed. On the 1st of October 2014 the site will be ready for testing and I would like to invite all geekzone users to log on, list, sell, communicate and see what the site is all about.

Basically give it hell and then tell me what you think, whether its good and bad. We are a small company but I think we have do things right (yes we are based in NZ and the site was built in NZ, by kiwis) so if you are keen please let me know. I can either send you the link on the 1st of October or post it here? I am new to this forum, scrolled it for answers to questions I have had in the past but never posted. So please let me know what will work best.  Thanks Cris

What exactly does the site do? Why would I use it over Trademe, etc?

Posting the test site link here will get you an enthusiastic test audience.

If you have followed past launches you will know that some proportion of the feedback is likely to be brutal insensitive, but then a lot of it will be very supportive as well.

Alternatively you can mail links to interested parties and ask for private feedback, but then you lose the momentum that free discussion tends to generate - if you can keep up with it.
