Hi,

Myself and some colleagues are looking to startup a vehicle tracking/monitoring system using pre-built hardware, but our own customised back end to provide the 'smarts'. We have built a prototype web UI which sits on top of our backend but it is far from 'polished'.

So we are looking for someone who is proficient in HTML/CSS/JS that can take our skeleton and build a 'pretty' front-end to site on top, since none of us have these skills.

Anyone interested in this sort of work? We won't have a very big budget but then we are not asking for a full redesign, just a bit of spit-and-polish so to speak :).

Send me a PM if you are interested and I can point you towards the current version of our demo site for reference.

Cheers,
Ben

Where are you based? Do you want someone local or can the role be filled with someone being in remote?

Those would be helpful for those whom may be interested.

Why don't you go to a company that specialised is that sort of thing? There are also many small companies run by one or two people who could help. I pressume you want ongoing support too, which is something they can offer, over someone doing a private one off job.

@chiefie: I am based in ChCh but there is no requirement for anyone taking this on to be based here.

@mattwnz: Happy to take suggestions for a company that would be suitable - looking for recommendations from people who have actually used someone rather than just scanning the white pages and trying my luck. I thought I would try here to see if there were any freelancers interested in the work, before taking a more commercial route.
