Hi all, my name is Bede Guglielmoni.

A friend and I are working on a fintech startup that will be focused on reducing scams in peer-to-peer marketplaces (Facebook Marketplace etc.)

We’ve put together a short 10-question survey to help us validate some of our market assumptions.

Our idea is to create a simple, everyday escrow-style platform where payments are held safely by a third party until the buyer receives the item—adding a layer of protection when trading with strangers.

To clarify, the OP came recommended by a mod, as as such, received the trust stamp. It's also approved to post, otherwise it would have disappeared pretty quick.

Good enough for me, completed survey, fairly short and painless.

My big feedback is, i wouldnt pay for this type of service however i dont shop on FB market place.

So not your target audience. Best of luck.

Its unclear on your survey who the "you" is,

In question 6 and 7 talk you ask "would you" pay,

Earlier in the questions you ask about have you bought or sold?, so its unclear when you ask about fees who you are talking about. Is this the buyer? , or the seller? or a split between both??,

I think you would get better information from the survey if this was made more clear...
