Our NZ indy app company Adappted Ltd. has launched our second effort into the facebook apps scene.

Our new app's info page is here:  http://www.startapanic.com

details:

----------------
Got something important to say? Start a Panic!
Panic! is the new way to get maximum attention to your wall posts. Submit Panics on anything, such as the latest political, environmental or romantic crises affecting your life, or maybe you just need a super urgent ride to the airport!

By Starting A Panic you'll create a highly-visible post on your Wall that's sure to get noticed. Also, your friends will be able to Spread The Panic, with one click adding it to their wall and helping your panic reach further.
----------------

We have a lot of plans for new dev such as a "Mass Panic" wall that will contain top spread panics on a global scale.  Also, panic notifications.. for example you would set the system to notify you by email of any "environmental" panics in your area.

Our first facebook app myAdieu is still chugging along but we need to work on more marketing.  That app info page is here:  http://myadieu.adappted.com/info.html

Facebook apps are a tough market!  It is just myself and a partner doing this in our spare time.  We will persevere and see how it goes.

Thanks!

Ok... Added the application. Haven't hit the Panic button yet. But then I'm not a big Facebook user, rather use Twitter - I post a status here on Geekzone, it goes to Twitter and from there to my Facebook account.

Let's see when I hit the panic button...

We've updated our landing page http://www.startapanic.com to contain more info and screenshots. We've also been running ads on reddit for a few days. For those curious, we have found reddit to be great value for money. I would say you'll get around 700 click throughs on your ad for $100 US over a 3 day period, has definitely given us a bump.

We are now working on the "mass panic" wall which will contain a live feed of all panics posted throughout facebook. This wall will be available within facebook and externally on our landing/info page. We were holding off on that until we got some panics in the database and now there are plenty.

P.S. if you guys could click the "like" button for us on the above page that would be great, even if you do not sign up.  Cheers!
