Anyone else experiencing data issues in Wellington on Skinny?

I am located Whitmore Street end of town and am getting no love data wise. Have reset phone, etc but no joy. I have also checked I have data / credit (which I do).

Text messages & phone calls appear unaffected.

[edit] It is worth noting I have full bars of coverage and 3G is available. Using an iPhone 4S btw [edit]

I've asked support to investigate and will post back when I have a response

Thanks for that.

I have noted a few friends on Twitter are also having issues. Some are Skinny & some are Telecom.

I'm having the same issue - with Telecom - can't access anything via mobile data - either 3G or 4G.

First noticed it about 1pm - seems to be ongoing since then (just tried again).

Nothing offical from Telecom yet - I've poked them on Twitter.

Yes there was an intermittent network issue impacting mobile data roughly south of Taihape causing either slow speeds or no connection - I have just been told that it is back now and indeed tested mine OK.

Sorry for the inconvenience

I'm guessing you are on Telecom rather than Skinny as you mention 4G.

Skinny is working but I believe there may still be some issues for Telecom customers.

I still cannot activate the cellular data network (Telecom).

Maybe I need to power cycle the phone? But I can't be bothered doing that and am finally in wifi range.

ADD: Just noticed this is in the Skinny forum - oops.

I don't think the "south of Taihape" part is correct.  I have no data connection in the Henderson, West Auckland area from around 12:40pm for about three hours.  I tried rebooting, turn airplane mode on and off, turn data connection on and off etc but they didn't help.

Funny thing was my wife is on Skinny as well and we were together.  Her data connection was OK during that time, but not mine.  And both of us are using Galaxy S2.

Maybe the XT-AI system knew she only needed to use her data for testing and let it through.

Finally got back from holiday and glad to see (in some respects) that it's not just me. However, I've also had this problem for most of the 28th, and a few hours each day since...including right now where I can't get a internet connection
