I'm trying to build a Misting setup above my outdoor table like these:

Does anyone know where one might find the misters to attach to a pipe? I've searched mitre 10 and Bunnings websites with no luck. So I thought someone on here may possibly know?

Thanks in advance

It took me 2 seconds to find these http://www.bunnings.co.nz/our-range/garden/watering-accessories/irrigation/micro-sprays

I was thinking standard black irrigation pipe. But the misters I've seen at restaurants and such are usually metal with a much finer spray than what those provide.
Maybe I should just try those ones and see how they turn out...

Not sure why you'd want a mister over a table myself, but http://www.bunnings.co.nz/pope-micro-jet-mist-spray-10pk_p00829109

Not going to be directly over the table, just off to the side to cool the air.

Yea that looks like a better option than the bunnings ones. I shall hunt some down and give it a go.
Thanks

Will you not then have a wet table?

Even the lower of those puts out 5.5L per hour, a couple of them and you will have a pretty damp table.

Not sure how cooling mists will be in nz's high humidity.

Mind you places still get away with selling evaporative coolers even tho they will achieve nothing.

I expect that irrigation nozzles will output droplets that are far too big for effective evaporative misting.

Everything is just going to get wet, which means it is an inefficient use of water.

I have used one of these with success. Installed into an outdoor dining area in Sydney. They are very common over there

Funny enough, last week I was looking for misting fan which you can find from Bunnings. Anyway there was DIY video and the suggestion is to use the normal garden misting irrigation heads (1/4 spread) at regular distance apart.
