The kiwi innovator traditionally starts out in the good old kiwi shed. It might be a corner of the garage, a proper shed in the backyard, a workshop, a man cave, or craft room.
I watched some of the Great British Shed on TV and reckon that there must be some impressive setups out there in the GeekZone.
Post up a snap or two of your lair and let us know about your happy place.
I'll post mine after I've done a wee tidy up :-)

Don't have photos of inside.. but is a double garage with so many power-sockets its not funny.   'Hobby Room' on the side fully kitted out with structured cabling between house and garage (RF/Ethernet) including local patch panels.  Spent too much money which I could have spent elsewhere..
'Hobby Room' acts as my little home studio for 'The Cheese'.  Man-Cave/Solitude.  Still require mini-bar fridge with beers in it though.

I'm about to build my own shed (in a couple of weeks) so will be interested to see what others have done.

My plan is to build it out of framing timber with ply cladding and a couple of sheets of iron for a roof. I don't plan on it being extravagantly waterproof, but double doors open outwards with a portable work bench able to be rolled out to expand the usable area.

I am in the same boat as the others, I have a double garage to myself but it is a hell of a mess at the moment with all my project work going on.

However when i get home i will take a couple of photos to show the layout after i give it a quick tidy.
