Why did you wait on hold ?  Right at the beginning of the call it asks if you want to get them to call you back, just do that, they do call.  Not saying they'll be less useless but at least you dont have to listen to the worst hold music in the world and do something more meaningful.

 

 

 

 

I had a good reason for not wanting a call-back at this time, which could occur at any random moment in the day or even on another day. In any case, it ought to be possible to reach a company you are spending money with in a normal fashion, without having to jump through all kinds of hoops.

gregmcc: The quickest easiest fix is to ring them up

 

 

Ring Contact? Have you ever tried calling them? It's just a permanent loop of "We're experiencing higher-than-normal call volumes", you can never get through to them unless it's an emergency.
