I guess the point of the OP still stands, you and your company are entitled to ask potential customers to sign a humongous document, and all potential customers have the right to tell you to "Go Away", and to use someone else. I myself will not be using any of these companies even if they are "well respected in the industry", and not because I don't intend to pay.

 

 

 

 

Always an individual choice, that wasn't the reason for my reply, although I'm struggling to get my head around this sort of obstinance.  

 

A parallel example might be, did you read the MS EULA (/substitute most commercial software) before you clicked OK?





Stop worrying about what other people think of you.  They're really not thinking about you at all.

I have never been asked to sign any contract just for a quote. I wouldn't have thought that would be needed unless a company actually was charging for the quote, which some companies do do.
