900 lumen isn't super bright. I have four 1400 lumen LED lights in my average sized kitchen.
Yes, but it is for outside where a couple of low efficiancy par38's running well down the temperture scale were the norm, so those would probably be brighter, a better colour and use less power. Not sure on the longevity since those under driven par38 incandescent lamps seemed to last forever.

I need to replace my 120watt ES/E27 flood light bulbs and I thought I'll just upgrade the whole unit to an LED unit, but then I found these on eBay (see link below) and I was wondering if anybody else has replaced there outdoor flood light bulbs with LED equivalent?
I took this photo when a mate came around to the house to charge his Tesla on the way back to Auckland from Gisborne. It's dim my area. Without these LEDs you'd be looking at a black square (and some light from the car headlights....)

I've been on Geekzone over 16 years..... Time flies....
I have used a couple of these:

Have lasted 18 months so far in a sensor fitting.
Have tried the CFL variants, but they take 5 minutes before they are bright enough. I have relegated those to manual switched outdoor PAR38 fittings where the long warmup time is not an issue.

I had two of these installed. "Orbit" brand at Mitre 10. They are sensor lights and very bright. $39 each. Install extra. Was about $100 for a sparkie (he did other things at the same time, so this is a guess).
They have 2 x Par38 bulbs and are 1600 Lumens. I find them bright enough.....
Meaning 800 Lumens each bulb for a total of 1600 Lumens?

They seem to be the same as mine, so yes, 1600 lm for BOTH lamps, 800lm per.
I wouldn't say they are as bright as the original 150W floods, but for my needs, more than sufficient. You cant look directly at them without being affected by light blindness afterwards.
