Arsonist:

I also recently contacted Cavius about the hub. They replied with

If you did purchase the Wireless Family alarm with the intent of also purchasing the HUB, we do have a work around for this. Would probably be best to discuss over the phone however.

I am interested in what "work around" they may have for this. Are you able to post their contact number and I'll give them a buzz.

Can someone advise what the work around is who has already rung Cavius? I have couple of these hub's with one still inside the packaging that i have not opened. Might have to return them if the app is going to be discontinued.

Do whatever you want to do man.

Bung: You could have been caught by the lower voltage of rechargeables. AFAIK all alarms should be replaced after 10 years even if you can replace the batteries.

I had two of the three running the supplied alkaline's, and one out of the three one eneloops. False alarms were distributed across all three alarms. Had just had carpert replaced, so may have been a little dustier than normal, but when you are removing the smoke alarms so you can get a whole nights sleep it kind defeats their purpose.
