Due to the risks of getting on a roof, my inability to do it we have used these guys in the past and they do a great job. My wife is always keen to do it herself but I am not comfortable with being on the roof especially without the rails.

I would say seeing as you are on leave and it's been designated your job, do the slow acting spray-and-walk away product.  You'll be done in a few hours and then you can have an actual holiday

Yep. Next issue is we have a two storey house, the yellow mould is only on the ridge lines, but the hose pressure is marginal, but trestle will help that and a low wind day. Then I can't see so the wife will be navigating from a distance lol. All good fun. Oh, needs to be cloudy, no wind, wife home, no rain in 12 hours, but all good, when those ducks line up, be onto it!

I think I something sulphate in the greenhouse and it REEKS for days. From memory copper sulphate is very strongly coloured as well and can stain. Be a bit careful.

Copper sulfate is blue, no discernible odour that I remember.  Lime sulphur stinks likes the hounds of hades.  Copper hydrochloride, is powder blue, with minimal odour.

Yeah that's right. Lime Sulphur very smelly, copper hydrochloride is messy. I wouldn't put either on my house / roof.
