I have the Bosch or near equivalent. Had it nearly 4 years and it hasn't missed a beat. I would buy another tomorrow.

Miele, but I‘m close to the source. Life expectancy: 20-25 years

Twice the price, twice the lifespan.

We've been a lot less enamoured with our more recent F&P purchases than ever before.

I'd be heading in the Bosch direction too (in fact we will be soon).

F&P = nicer Haier these days. Certainly not the brand it used to be when it was NZ made. A real shame.

Crikey, i should have done a poll - Bosch winning by a long shot. Very interesting.

I got my first Miele washer and a dryer recently.

I'd never buy another brand again. It's like a have new clothes.

I have owned an LG and a Panasonic, and used a Bosch for a couple of years in a rental property. All were excellent.

My newly built apartment has F&P gear as kitchen chattels and I hate them, especially the dishwasher which seems to be possessed by the devil.

I'm fan of F&P I've had good service out of various smart drives over the years.  All top loaders, I can't comment on the front loaders.  We have to have one in the apartment of some unknown brand.  My back and I strongly dislike it, purely from an ergonomics point of view.  Friends have one sitting on a cabinet about 900mm above the floor.  Good set up, if a little heavy to lift in.

Our Miele dishwasher does the best job of any dishwasher I've ever owned.

We had to go with Electrolux in the kitchen to match our style of kitchen and colours, but the brand is as good as everyone says.
I got a combo price and a discount on our washer and dryer. Twisdos is also amazing.

BOSCH = Siemens = Contructa … they only have different face designs but even the same service and spare parts address (in GER).

BSH have always been the same company, it was started as a Bosch / Siemens JV in the 1960s. It’s been 100% owned by Bosch since 2015. The Siemens brand isn’t used in NZ.

Wouldn‘t buy everything from Miele but their famous core business (anything involved with water).
