Karcher is by far the most popular brand in the electric scene.

Anything k4 and above has the water cooled motor

and depending on what you want to use it for the k5 Premium full control home and car pack might work for you.

Goosey:

Just remember, if you do get a water blaster...

set it all up and then pull the trigger, hold it down, turn on the water (whilst still keeping the trigger open/spraying)......a low spray will come... keep holding that down and then turn on the power.... and away you go.

When you finish, keep the trigger held down......turn off the power, then turn off the water and let go of the trigger.

Why?  This lets go of the pressure on the ball bearings and if you dont respect this method....you soon find the unit wont pump water anymore as the ball bearings on the intake will get stuck.

(thats what my Karcher manual told me about 20 years ago.....and I still have the same unit).

Great to know, thank you.

Good price match available currently $899 at Mitre 10 and $866 at Bunnings so that should bring the Mitre 10 price down to $736.10

Will try it today :)

I've had a petrol Homelite 2600PSI Pressure Washer from Bunnings ($499) for four years. Still going strong, starts on first pull.

Success. Price matched at Mitre10 Masterton, no issues at all and was indeed $736.10.

Always had success there with Price Matching especially around expensive items such as De Walt powertools :)

How does that work? That means they could theoretically do that for all products and not have to price match?

Both look exactly the same above but model numbers slightly different for some reason...

Yeah, you’re right there is a slight difference between model numbers - that said, they’d be hard-pressed to argue these products were different in any material way, given the specs, accessories, title, description etc.

Speaking from personal experience, I got this exact model price-matched by M10 a few years back, so it worked then! Good machine, too…

dont trust the model numbers on the website. but yes they need to be the same as they may claim its not the same product.

i just check the barcodes.
