Thanks guys for all the very good advice and tips. We decided and went a bought; Bunnings - Sutton Tools 10 Piece Bi-Metal General Purpose Holesaw Set $129.00

Yes - to buy individual holesaws as required is good advice except that meant they were going to be a collection of individual loose items. Buying them already packaged in a nice carry case was a our deciding factor.

Cheers 😀

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Nice buy - they’ll be great. Decent quality and nobody regrets buying quality. Very good price too, for what you got.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Late to the party but in a Trade and we use Starrett brand Holesaws. Buying from a wholesaler you can just buy the individual parts or complete sets. I have had no problems with drilling into all sorts with them and they last quite a while (considering the amount of use they get). Having them wear out fast can sometimes be attributed to drilling at the wrong speed for the Material - just like standard Drill Bits.
