Instructions mention to keep the louvers open to limit uplift, it doesn't mention anything about lateral loads or shear.  I spoke to an engineer about the fixings for sheer resistance and he recommended stainless steel anchor bolts (100mm) into concrete, so I bought 24 of those.

The structure has to be 2m from a boundary - good for that one.

Nick - I can position 2 of the posts like that but because of the measurements the other legs are pretty much in the middle sadly.  I did think about your method, i.e cutting a hole in the paver and filling the concrete flush to the top of the paver but that is beyond my skill level as some of the paver cuts would need 4 cuts to make a square hole within the paver.
