Yes have look down the hole, when the tap is on water is leaking fro. Under neath the cone screw, when turn off there is no leak Have had one quote so far $486 to fix

kiwicw: They will only maintain the main toby which is at the start of the share driveway, that toby turns off the 5 houses

 

Interesting, we're down a long driveway with 8 houses, there is a main toby road side and then one for each house on the shared driveway outside each house, council here maintains our individual tobies also.

You could try tightening the nut under the handle to compress the gland packing around the valve stem.
