I bought shelving similar to the below off a local importer who sells on Trademe.

Yes, it's likely Chinesium but it appears well constructed, is completely modular, adjustable, and assembles with no nuts/bolts etc. I have screwed it into my wall framing as a safety measure. It holds a lot of stuff easily and relatively cheaply. It holds all my larger power tools in their cases + car parts, paints, cleaning products etc. I have a number of Systema (or similar - I can't remember) storage bins of different sizes that are stackable. I don't care too much about the industrial look - it's a garage used for garag-ie things. Smaller tools reside in my wheeled tool chest & drawers unit and I have a timber work bench along another wall where I do my tinkering.

I designed my garage extra wide to ensure I have enough space for two cars + workshop & storage space to the front and side - but still with plenty of room to walk around both cars without tripping over anything. Of course, now I can never move house - no other garage measures up lol.

Your garage sounds like the polar opposite of mine
Ours is a classic 1990's single garage with internal access, which has no discernable garage-like qualities other than a tilt-a-door.
It's not wide enough for anything other than a tiny hatchback, but then that has to be parked up against a wall so the driver can get out.
Needless to say, it's not used for cars.

Did my garage out in commercial stuff. you can chooses different depths and heights  https://rexproducts.co.nz/product-category/heavy-duty-industrial-longspan-shelving/ it is the same thing as the Dexion stuff. You can buy each part separately.

It ends up surprisingly cheap if you are going to do a whole garage because you don't need many upstands. most of the commercial stuff is the same basic design

+1 for the Dexion type shelving - solid as. 15 years ago I managed to score a load of secondhand stuff on Trademe and after a lick of paint has stood the test of time.

I am glad I generated alot of good discussion.
I search for more and I found this
https://www.steelmates.co.nz/garage-storage

They have like workshop drawers and storages. When I spoke to the sales person over the phone, he said to me, goto the showroom and check out for myself before making any commitments to buy.
