Price is not an issue.

 

I already have the solar panel etc from a previous setup at my house (which is where it still is sitting in the garage).

 

It's just more things that have to be taken down when mum's place is no longer required.

Big shout out to the Baron of Coffee, and he does have a big ladder!

 

Very impressive.

 

Replaced the depleted camera with a charged one I prepared earlier, and we are all good for another 12 months or so.

 

Best community on the internet.

@noroad will consider that if mum intends staying in this house for the foreseeable.

 

Fraser scoped out a better place to mount it, so another time we will get that sorted.

It might be a solution to use a magnet (suitable strength) placed inside the window holding the camera mount outside the window. Test first to make sure that the magnet has no effect on the camera.  This would allow access through the open window for servicing.  This would also leave no trace when removed.
