After all these warnings I haven't come accross low voltage PSUs with capacitors at high voltages when unplugged.....

 

 

I bet You'd have to stick your tongue across it to get a lethal shock . :-)

 

Ive had more than a few shocks from mains wiring . Its not 100% fatal  . Ive had far worse shocks from electric fences .
You'd have to be extremely unlucky to be killed from a cap in a PC's PSU . Possible in theory , but unlikely .

 

I remember tales of techs charging up caps to 300v & tossing them to an unsuspecting tech to catch .
