If that's what it was, what would I be looking at, cost-wise? Hundreds? Thousands?
The machine wouldn't be worth that much surely - it's a couple of years old. Spending 'hundreds/thousands' on it would quite likely be bad economy.
I contacted Samsung myself directly, so Noel Leeming didn't even get a look-in, to be fair to them.
Update: the washing machine was collected by Samsung this morning. They said it should take about a week. Here's hoping.
Quick update, the repaired washing machine was returned to me yesterday. According to the delivery guys, "the drum and tub(?)" were replaced. No cost as it was repaired under warranty.
I tested it last night and it seems to be all sorted.
