I had quotes everywhere from $3500-$6000 for the same job in Lower Hutt a month or so ago. None of the websites which advertise fixed price cylinder upgrades bother responding to enquiries at all, which is a bit sad. I just want hot water pressure :(

I think most places are so busy, and potentially short-staffed, that you really need to chase them if you want a followup. Don't just rely on an email - phone them; multiple times if needed.
