@Paul1977 I would recommend the Mitsi Lossnay, from personal experience. It's a clever system.

You could also try Fantech.

Much of it depends on your house layout and requirements, and if the installer is willing to come up with a solution that works best for you.

Do your research and talk to as many installers/suppliers as possible.

I'm in Christchurch. Snowtemp came out who are the Cleanaire installers here (I contacted Cleanaire who put me straight on to them).

Just got the quote back $5268 for the 80% efficiency model and $6040 for the 95% efficiency model. I think that's a bit rich for my blood for a small 2 bedroom house.

Is there an option from any of the main suppliers to just purchase what you need and install it yourself?

I installed my Smartvent myself (apart from the sparky bit) and I would definitely not class myself as a confident DIYer. In fact there is bugger all to these systems for the price you pay for them.

Makes you wonder how much it would be to buy all the components individually - might be worth looking at.

I wouldn't have even considered that Bunnings would stock these. Doesn't look like any of these are the Synergy balanced pressure systems though. Will be worth asking what price they can get them for though.
