Hi,

Just a quick note for anyone in Wanganui.  There is a widespread issue with the ripple relay signal system (presumably) that has dropped the hot water supply power. 

So basically there are a lot of households with no hot water now.

Thought I'd mention it in case anyone was about to call an electrician etc.

Do many retailers have an issues and status page?

Check the lines company page. The retailers don't have anything to do with the ripple control.

Except peoples contract is with the power company , not with the lines company, so you would expect the power company to keep people upto date, even if it is a problem with their provider..

The above is similar to chorus, with regards to customers not being able to approach them directly.

Warm water this morning though, so all sorted now.
