Hi Geekzone,

Been looking for a heat pump for my home and came across kiwiheatpump.co.nz. They have some great prices and I figured this would be a good forum to ask on. Has anyone bought from them before and can share an experience? Despite the low prices it's still not the cheapest product (any heatpump that is) so would like to know for sure that they are good to deal with before spending the money.

Thanks in advance.

Adam

I left two messages with their answer service and filled out a quote form online and never heard a thing back, possibly because I am in Wellington but I was only after a heatpump not the install.

It always concerns me when a business doesn't respond, even if just to say bugger off Wellington scum, makes me wonder what they are like if you were to have a problem.

OP: Where are you located? I can give you the name of a small company here that has done two for us and we have been happy with it.  Cost effective too.

I think they are the ones who installed our heatpumps a couple of years ago. they were pretty quick and efficient and had finished the installation within 3 hours or something. no issues as such yet with the Fujitsu Nocria that we got. Decent heatpump - no complaints yet.

I searched the Companies website and the "Kiwi Heat" there were all struck off the list - what is the commercial name of this one you're dealing with?

I think it's Auckland Heat Pumps. At least that's what pops up on the browser tab when I go to the page. OP, sorry, i've not used them so can't comment on their skills.
