I'm in need of a plumber in Dunedin, Outram specifically.

Who have you used that's good. I want good more than I want cheap.

Foleys good and reliable. Widely well regarded. Not sure if they are expensive but won't be cheap. You get what you pay for.

Not sure if they will charge extra for Outram.

WHAT!!? How could they possibly charge more to come out to Outram?!! Just because they are an hour away from the town center and have 1/10 the population. It's just not fair!!!!

Sorry, don't know a plumber. Just made me giggle seeing that lol.

EC Shaw are good, they're in Mosgiel so they should service Outram.

There have been 335 posts about Outram in the last 6 weeks. I really must go out there and see what the attraction of this place is.

Cheers,

David.

I guess you know for a fact that every single tradesman in Dunedin charges extra for Outram. Well done you. Gold star.

Follow up.

I'm not impressed with EC Shaw at all, I've told them not to bother coming to do the work. They don't turn up when they say they will, and they don't come back with prices or time frames as they promise. I've since heard from several people that this is common for them.

They also sent a someone who failed to identify a fairly obvious leak in the shower mixer (I've since found it myself and he has no excuse).

Sounds like they did an outstanding job; compared to the local DSL broadband :)

Give Ian Thomas at IT Plumbing and Heating a call, tell him I put you onto him, used to work with him he's is good...

Only takes me 18 minutes to get to work on a good day and 20 on a bad day, much misinformation here...

Tim

Sorry to hear that, it's not the experience I had but it might be the luck of the draw as to who you get. I only used them twice and then switched to another plumber who works with the builder I've been using for renovations (but I'm not sure he does Outram, he's based in St Leonards).

Wyllies crossing here, we used Adams the other day for ours when our waste water system failed, they were good :)
They also did the new house a couple of years back too.
