The original Vector solar thread is locked, but in that thread the major consensus is the deal wasn't really worth it, or barely paid itself off. 
Looks like Vector have acknowledged this and offered the buyback deal to sweeten the offering. Might have to break out excel to see if it's worthwhile this time around!
