Hey folks... Got a door knocker today offering a credit, 20% prompt payment discount, open term and FlyBuys. All sounds good - it's on their site too.

But I can't even find pricing per unit and daily charges. We are currently with Genesis and I know the unit pricing because of my bill - but I can't find these prices in their public site either.

Anyone has comments on pricing for Contact?

I did find this on their website (sample bill)....

Natural gas charges - installation connection point (ICP) 0002031101QT6AC from 15 Oct 13 to 13 Dec 13 (60 days).
Living Smart Daily Charge 60 days @ 1.567 dollars per day $94.02
Living Smart 478 kWh @ 6.445 cents per kWh $30.81
Gas Industry Company Fees 60 days @ 2.820 cents per day $1.69

Might give you a rough clue but you're going to have to call them I'd say.

personally I would never join contact after the antics of their board a couple of years back.

Thanks, but yes... A sample bill could be anything really.

I’ve not got gas, by have my electricity from Genesis. My in-laws had a Nova Energy door knocker the other week, and they signed up with them (for gas and power), with the offer of (I think) $100 credit plus 20% off their bills for prompt payment. A week or so later, they had a call from Genesis, offering them $150 plus the next bill free (up to $250) to stay, so they stayed and took that offer.

I phoned Genesis to ask for what offers they had for existing customers, but was fobbed off with some discount offer if you were with Spark. Told them that my in-laws has a deal to stay and eventually I had the same offer. Just checked my bill, and it was supposed to be $225, but I’m $150 in credit, so saved $375 just by phoning and asking – oh, and saying unless I had a deal, I’d be off smile

So, get on the phone to Genesis and say you want a deal to stay.
