Hi all,

Do you know if it is possible to change the default [nearly typed browser] outlet for a shower diverter?
i.e. we are getting a shower over bath, and would prefer the shower always be on 'unless diverted' - but most I've seen in the past always go to the bath by default.

Thanks

Mine operates on whatever it was last set to. Made sure of that when I got it that it didnt ping back to the wrong one when you turned it off because often as you reduce the shower flow it will go below the threshold and bounce to flooding your feet water thats sat in the pipe so is cold then really hot.

Thanks - I'll have to check with the plumbers then, at the moment I just have it as two separate mixers but that will just mean more plumbing and more to go wrong

depends on the diverter, but some have different sized outlets and may only be suited for having the connections one way round.

we have one of there shower diverters: http://www.aquatica.co.nz/zento.htm

its set to bath by default which has come in handy not to get wet when accidentally turning it on

Normally they are set to bath by default. Where the customer wants shower by default you have to swap over the outlet pipes inside the wall. Although some models you can lock them into shower. As a means of overriding the bath default.

And don't get a dirvertor mixer if you have low pressure hot water.
