Hi guys, the windscreen wipers started (quite a while ago) to hit very hard the bottom of the windscreen and sometimes pass the pillar on the driver's side when going up... this is all to do with some plastic bushings in the arms / linkages of the mechanism. Buying a second-hand assembly would not have new bushings, so I am not sure if this is the solution. One large auto dismantler in Onehunga offered me the 2x arms (which come with these bushes at the ends). I am not sure if the bushings are new or not but I guess they would be old as well, as they confirmed the bushings are not available separately. Or maybe they have the bushes but they want to sell me the $45 / link (2x required) and not the $5 plastic bushes? Who knows...

I see on Amazon lots of such bushes sold in various sets to suit different cars. I have tried few auto parts stores in Akl but no success, they have never heard of such set. One brand which keeps popping up on Internet is Dorman.

My question is: can such wiper bushing sets be purchased in NZ? Did anyone come across such supplier?
Car is Honda Accord 1998 japanese import, body CF3.

Thank you.

They'll be second hand but good.  I think it's your best bet, you could try Honda, but good luck with that.
