Hi, this is my first time on this site, so please correct me if I'm going wrong here.
I need to know if anyone is using the rinnai arriva 752 gas fire for heating house. I want to know if it is as efficient as they claim and are the gas bills sky high?

I'm a Gas fitter. So have installed a few Arrivias. Yes they are as efficient as claimed. But actual running cost depends on how much heat you need to keep your house warm. (How well insulated is it?) And are you using natural gas or LPG? As in Auckland there is a very big price difference between the two. Don't know about rest of the country. And of course how you use the fire will make a difference.

Why do you ask? Are you thinking of buying one? Or have you moved into a house that already has one?

Also depends on how you flue them I have a complete running chart somewhere on all the Rinnai gas fires for LPG and NG

Yep that as well. And the flue type also affects the max heat output. (longer flues require the max burner pressure to be reduced) But since the OP hasn't come back to say whether they have natural gas or LPG. Or give any more detailed information. Discussing different flue types would probably be a waste of time.
