Hi
Wanting to get a new kitchen for our beach house in Otaki. I don't want something too cheap but not expensive either. What do people think of the kitchen units you can buy from Mega Mitre 10, Bunnings and Placemakers. Also can anyone recommend custom kitchen makers/installers in the Wellington/Kaput Coast area?
Cheers

When we did our kitchen up on a budget, we purchased the bare cabinets and had Mike from Coastal Kitchens make our doors and bench top. The ones that M10 and Bunnings supplied were only 16mm doors and Mike made slightly thicker ones at 18mm. The price Mike that we paid mike in the end was thousands less than the nearest quote but the quality was superb and an outstanding guy to work with. He lives in Raumati Beach and works all over the coast.

We purchased them from Bunnings Porirua, they were the cheapest bare bones set at the time. It was fun designing and building ourselves.
