I now have 4 of these and all doing various things.

Is hooked up to a security cam covering our drive way.
Is hooked up to the tv in the bedroom with kodi on it.
Is running my weather station http://125.237.160.224 , running Weewx and a sql database.
A spare which I just play around on.

Just curious to what you other pi owners out there have yours doing.

1. name server (bind) for managing names on LAN

2. Windows IoT development target

3. Bluetooth SIM Access Protocol server for reading contactless cards using NFC

4. Pocket SVN server

used original B for 1 and 3, and Pi 2 for 2 and 4.

Something to SSH into on a remote network so I can see what it is performing like etc. Keep meaning to set up VPN on it so I can access IP cams there but need to get around tooit.

Mine answer sound boring.

It is a home server using SAMBA, printer via CUPS and scanner via SANE

mysql nginx and php for database and webserver

I have also had minidlna and gmrenderer running on it and one time using it as a music system.

I am running http://www.weewx.com/

Its fairly easy to setup and covers most weather stations. Its python driven but there is a Debian package you can install from.

I set mine up with a web cam as well that takes a picture every minute.

Not really sure what else you would like to know. Fire away any questions more than happy to help where I can

Mine's nothing fancy; I've done some development on it but nothing particularly interesting. Made an app for scoring games of Mah-Jong, probably better suited for a phone but I wanted to try development for the Pi!

2xRPi-2 as Kodi clients (running OSMC) in living room and master bedroom

2xRPi-Bs as Squeezebox clients (running piCorePlayer) in nursery and garage

1xRPi-B as NAS backup server (NAS rsyncs to a couple of USB external drives)

Did have one in the garage with a 4xrelay board connected to the GPIO pins which controlled my irrigation system, and had the RPi camera module installed with monitored by *motion* (Linux motion detection software). But have recently swapped this out for an Arduino based irrigation controller and WIFI IP camera.

Love my Raspberry Pis!

Been using motion to try and catch the poopertrator - some dog owner who doesn't pick up after their pet which has taken a liking to the berm in front of my gate.

I've got one with my server / router / ONT etc to monitor my UPS. If there is a powercut it shuts down my server and then powers it up again (via WOL) when power is restored. Also runs a Mumble server, CUPS server + gives me a way to remote into my network.

Mine aren't doing anything currently :'(

Have an original Pi Model B and a Pi 2 Model B as well.

3 years ago I made a RPi powered remote cat feeder using perspex and servos and entered it into the school science fair and got top of the technology category haha.

Havent really done much with mine, but both of these tempt me to order a few more and do a deployment much alike :)
