My thoughts exactly.

 

Anything can be fixed - but if it's a full panel replacement it's unlikely to be cost effective.

Can see the line that the fault gets worse on at the top left. Cracked for sure.

 

Only hope is if you can find an electrically dead TV with the same panel and swap the panel over. For something that small not worth the hassle.

TV is in my daughters room and she reckons it has just gone like that.

 

I know she did move her room around a few months ago.

 

I have looked at TV and can see no impact damage, however that is not to say there isn't any ?

Is it at vacuum cleaner handle height? Friends cleaner did that to their TV and refused to own up to it.

 

If you push lightly on that area you should see the interference change, which basically proves it is damaged there.
