Now thanks to dick smiths failure I have a decent number of D cell NiMH's to charge, my old crappy 100mA trickle charger wont cut it, since that is several days to charge a 6Ah D cell.

Any recommendations on a decent one? I see there are plenty of 4 slot AA/AAA chargers that come with an adapter to stick 2 D's into the outermost slots, but ideally I want an 8 or more slot charger with capacity test, discharge etc, not having to shuffle cells thru 2 at a time in what look like rather ghetto adapters.
